Lesko TT200LT + Videojet inkjet

Tailor-Made Precision: Lesko Engineering Integrates Advanced Videojet Inkjet System into TT200LT Machine for Austrian Client

At Lesko Engineering, we believe that true innovation in label converting comes from combining engineering reliability with flexibility. We are thrilled to announce the completion of our latest project: a highly customized TT200LT finishing machine, fully integrated with an advanced industrial inkjet printing system from Videojet.

This state-of-the-art combination is set to begin full operations at the facility of one of our key clients in Austria.

The Power of Integration: High Performance Meets Variable Data Printing

Modern label converting demands maximum versatility, high processing speeds, and absolute accuracy—especially when it comes to track-and-trace capabilities, serialization, and variable data printing (VDP).

By integrating Videojet's proven inkjet digital print technology directly into the compact and robust Lesko TT200LT platform, we have created a seamless solution designed to handle demanding jobs without sacrificing production throughput.

Key benefits of this integration include:

  • Uncompromised Precision: Crisp, high-contrast printing of variable codes, barcodes, and dynamic text at production speeds.

  • Streamlined Workflow: Combining converting, inspecting, and digital printing into a single pass to minimize setup time and reduce material waste.

  • Compact Footprint: The TT200LT’s ergonomic build ensures high performance while maintaining efficient floor space utilization.

Customized to Perfection: The Lesko Approach

No two print shop environments are identical. As with every project at Lesko Engineering, off-the-shelf standards were not enough.

Our engineering team worked closely to adapt the TT200LT platform to the client’s exact operational workflows, web tension requirements, and mechanical specifications. The result is a fully bespoke machine tailored down to the finest detail to fit the customer's unique production goals.

A Triumph of Tripartite Collaboration

Delivering a complex, highly specialized machine across borders requires strong technical synergy. This project stands as a testament to the power of close international partnership.

The successful design, integration, and fine-tuning of the system were made possible through a close tripartite collaboration between:

  1. Lesko Engineering – Designing and manufacturing the reliable TT200LT mechanical and control platform.

  2. Videojet Technologies – Providing high-performance digital inkjet printing components and expertise.

  3. Grafische Systeme Schischke GmbH – Our trusted German sales and service partner, whose coordination and market insight were vital in bringing this project to fruition for the Austrian market.

Looking Ahead: More Installations Coming Soon

Trust that Returns – The 4th Lesko Engineering Machine Heading to Acoding in Slovakia!

It is said that selling the first machine is a success, but a manufacturer's true pride is when a client returns for more. It is with great pleasure that we announce the finalization of another joint project with our long-term partner from Slovakia – Acoding.

The Slovak leader in professional label printing has just taken delivery of their fourth machine from Lesko Engineering. This time, our client's machine park is being reinforced with the Lesko RLS280G model – a highly efficient solution designed for precise die-cutting and sheeting operations.

Every repeat order is the best proof for us that the engineering reliability, uncompromising manufacturing quality, and post-sales support offered by Lesko are real guarantees of customer satisfaction and production stability in daily print shop operations. We are incredibly happy and proud that clients place such deep trust in us and our brand, building relationships based on years of trouble-free cooperation.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Peter Prislupsky and the entire Acoding team for placing their trust in us once again. We firmly believe that the RLS280G model will further optimize their processes and unlock new market opportunities.

Automatic slitting unit from Lesko Engineering

Unlocking Slitter-Rewinder Efficiency: The Real ROI of Automatic Knife Positioning

In narrow-web label converting, the pressroom often outperforms the finishing department. While digital and flexo presses run at maximum speeds, the slitter-rewinder sits idle as operators manually measure, space, and lock down shear knives using calipers and Allen keys.

For high-mix, short-run production, manual knife positioning is a massive operational bottleneck. Transitioning to an automatic knife positioning system changes the game entirely, dropping setup times to under 45 seconds.

Lesko Engineering provides a highly competitive, common-sense solution:

  • Top-Tier Quality, Smart Investment: Designed and manufactured in Europe, our automated slitting stations utilize premium global components to deliver precision matching the industry's most expensive brands—at a highly rational price point.
  • 100% Service & Support Guarantee: We eliminate the risk of long-distance machinery sourcing. Our clients receive direct, reliable access to factory engineers and rapid parts availability, ensuring maximum machine uptime.
Hard Data: The Hidden Hours Leaking From Your Floor

Calculated across a standard two-shift operation (250 working days, averaging 6 changeovers per shift), manual setups cause severe cumulative losses compared to automated systems:

380 mm Web Width (e.g., Lesko CL380)
  • 5-Knife Layout: Manual setup takes 10 mins. Automation saves 475 hours of machine capacity per year.
  • 10-Knife Layout: Manual setup takes 18 mins. Automation saves 862.5 hours of machine capacity per year.
440 mm Web Width (e.g., Lesko HI440 or Lesko CL440)
  • 5-Knife Layout: Manual setup takes 12 mins. Automation saves 575 hours of machine capacity per year.
  • 10-Knife Layout: Manual setup takes 20 mins. Automation saves 962.5 hours of machine capacity per year.

The Efficiency Verdict: For a 10-knife setup on a 440 mm web, automating the slitting station reclaims up to 60 full working days annually. Instead of burning margin during manual changeovers, your line remains in continuous, profitable production.

Every label converting floor has a unique job mix, material profile, and shift structure. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing or unoptimized machinery.

Latest installation in Germany – CL440

Converting Line

It is often said that anyone can sell a machine, but the true art – and the real reward for a manufacturer – is when a customer comes back for another one. And this is exactly what has happened, something we are extremely proud of.
We are pleased to announce the completion of another project for our customer from Germany – a well-established label manufacturer who invested in their first Lesko CL440 machine two years ago.
Following the success of the first installation, the decision to invest again was a natural step in their development – this time with a clear objective: further process optimisation and full utilisation of the experience gained from long-term operation of the first machine.
From the very beginning, our exclusive representative in the German market – Grafische Systeme Schischke – was closely involved in the project. Together with the customer and the Lesko Engineering team, they coordinated the entire process and supported the analysis of the existing production setup.
Based on this experience, we implemented a series of improvements in the new machine configuration:

  • Optimised web guiding system
  • Improved operator ergonomics
  • Greater flexibility for new label formats and applications
  • Maintained highest registration accuracy and process stability
  • Reduced setup times and minimised waste

The new machine was successfully assembled, commissioned, and tested in our factory. Last week, we completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), which was approved by the customer. The next step will be delivery and installation at the production facility in Germany.
This project clearly demonstrates that the development of the best solutions does not come from adding more and more features, but from the consistent refinement of proven designs based on real production experience.
At Lesko Engineering, we believe that the true value of a machine is revealed in daily operation – through process stability, repeatable quality, and operational efficiency. That is why every repeat order from an existing customer is considered the highest form of confirmation of our work.
We would like to thank our customer for their trust, as well as the team at Grafische Systeme Schischke for their professional support and coordination of the project on the German market.
